Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentarias (BBVA) Colombian unit has sold bonds worth $98 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. BBVA Colombia, which had issued $248 million of bonds, sold $77 million billion worth of bonds maturing in 2019.
The Spanish banks unit also sold $21 billion of bonds maturing in 2014. BBVA Colombia will use the proceeds from the issue to finance its working capital.
