Carlyle Group has appointed Mitch Petrick as head of its distressed debt and leveraged finance business, Bloomberg reports. Previously, he was working with Morgan Stanley as head of its sales and trading business.
In December 2009, Petrick was replaced with James Gorman in a management shuffle at Morgan Stanley. Carlyle’s finance team manages 22 funds with nearly $13 billion of assets under management.
