Lazard has appointed Brian O’Neill as vice chairman of Lazard International, Bloomberg reports. O’Neill will be based in New York and will work closely with the investment advisory firm’s Central and South America divisions.

Previously, O’Neill was deputy assistant Treasury secretary. Prior to that, he was heading investment banking for Latin America and Canada at JPMorgan Chase.
