Orange County Employees Retirement System has appointed five transition managers, Pensions & Investments reports. The $7.4 billion system has named Barclays Global Investors, BNY ConvergEx, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, JPMorgan and State Street as its new transition managers.
The system has also invested $75 million in the 2010 fund of the private equity investor, Abbott Capital. OCERS sought the assistance of general consultant, Callan Associates, in the search process. The fund has terminated bond manager, Aberdeen Asset Management and equity manager, Capital Guardian, due to performance.
