The Norwegian Government Pension Fund-Global is looking for an ethical screening service provider, IPE reports. It is seeking to assess the possible breaches of its guidelines regarding the manufacture of tobacco, anti-humanitarian weapons and military supplies to Burma.
The candidate will need to scrutinize websites and collect corporate information that will then go into a quarterly report to the Council on Ethics. The €304 billion pension fund had appointed SourceAsia and CSR China in September to carry out internet-based ethical screening and Livingstone & Company in July to provide internet surveillance.
