Van Eck Global has filed a prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF, Exchangetradedfunds.com reports. The fund will be looking to replicate the Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners Index.

The fund will be investing at least 80% of its total assets in companies involved in the gold mining sector. It will use an indexing investment approach by investing in a portfolio of securities replicating the benchmark index.
