Prudential Financial will launch its Morse Code SOS television advertising campaign beginning Oct. 25 to run through 2010. The campaign kicked off Oct. 18 with a full page ad in the New York Times and also includes Internet ads, billboards at airports, elevator advertisements and an electronic billboard in Times Square.
The new Prudential television ads will show buildings in large cities lighting up in morse code sequences, representing organizations sending out a call, or SOS, for better solutions for asset management, secure retirement guidance and benefits for employees.
Also, in a shorter ad, morse code flashes on the bottom of the screen showing employees in every industry, placing an SOS call to protect savings and guarantee retirement income. The ads build on the companys Who? Pru advertising campaign, which has been running throughout the year. A spokesman for Pru declined to comment on the cost of the new campaign.
