The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has sold off nearly all of its pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health-care investments, The Wall Street Journal reports. It has disposed off stakes in Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, Wyeth, Merck & Company, Eli Lilly, Pfizer and Abbott Laboratories.
The Seattle-based charity endowment has bought shares in Range Resources and Cabot Oil & Gas. It has also acquired holdings in America Movil and train company, CSX.
