Anheuser-Busch InBev is planning to sell four plants to U.S. plastic and metal packaging products maker, Ball Corporation, for $577 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. The worlds largest brewer is selling three beverage-can manufacturing plants and a metal-lid plant to Ball Corp.
The plants are owned by AB InBevs U.S. metal packaging unit, Metal Container Corporation. The advisors to the deal, expected to close by end-2009 or beginning of 2010, were Deutsche Bank and
Lazard Freres
& Company.
