Drum Capital Management has appointed Duran Curis as a managing director, Business Wire reports. He will be in charge of diligence, oversight, manager selection and portfolio construction for the Drum Capital Special Situation Partner Funds and Drum’s portfolio construction and direct investments.

Prior to this, he was working as a managing director at HRJ Capital. Drum Capital is an independent investment management firm focused on distressed and turnaround investments.
