Belgian royal family, Caraman-Chimays U.S. office will start two credit opportunity funds next month, Financial News reports. The funds were originally scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2008.
The Colbeck Credit Opportunities Fund will be long-short credit while the Colbeck Secured Debt Fund will focus on technical dislocations in senior secured debt. Goldman Sachs has been appointed as prime broker of the fund while Grant Thornton will be the auditor and GlobeOp, the administrator.
