Citi Private Equity’s head, John Barber, is leaving the firm, CNN Money reports. He has spent 14 years at Citigroup and the last nine years leading the bank’s unit, Citi Private Equity.
The firm, with offices in London and New York, has made over 300 fund investments and 75 direct investments. It has invested in funds managed by Apax Partners, Providence Equity Partners and the Carlyle Group.
