Yahoo has appointed Carol Bartz as its new CEO, The Financial Times reports. Sue Decker, president and chief internal candidate for the post, will resign after a transitional phase.
Bartz was earlier executive chairwoman of Autodesk, a design software company. She is a board member of Intel and Cisco Systems.
