Investor Grant Jackson has been made a general partner at Council Ventures, a Nashville venture firm focused on the convergence of health care and financial services, Business Journal reports. He was previously a partner at The Aurora Funds, where he invested in health care services and health care information technology companies.

Grant has previously worked with First Analysis, an investment bank and private equity firm in Chicago. He was the lead health care services public equity analyst and venture capital investment professional at the firm.
