Yahoo board member, Carl Icahn, has increased his stake in the Internet company, Market Watch reports.
Icahn has purchased about 6.8 million shares at a price of $9.88 and now owns 75.6 million shares of the company.
Icahn joined the board of directors in July, after acquiring almost 5% stake in the company. He was advocating an acquisition proposal from Microsoft for Yahoo. The negotiations between the two companies eventually phased out.
