Nord/LB has closed a financing for SkyPower and SunEdison's First Light solar project in Ontario, Canada. The financing covers 9MW of a total 19MW planned at the site, which would have a cost of up to C$100 million ($78 million). The project is located on a 178-acre site in Lennox and Addington counties, Ontario. It sells power to utility Hydro One under the province's Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program, and is the first plant to close financing under the scheme.
