Barclays Global Investors Canada has launched the iShares Portfolio Builder Series exchange-traded funds which combine asset allocation and risk management, Datamonitor reports.

The iShares Portfolio Builder Funds are comprised of four distinctly focused funds, built from a combination of iShares exchange traded funds (ETFs) which trade around the globe.

Barclays has said that two of the new funds, the iShares Conservative Core Portfolio Builder Fund and the iShares Growth Core Portfolio Builder Fund are a convenient way to achieve cost-effective, efficient and diversified solutions to meet specific portfolio needs based on risk tolerance. The fees for these funds are 60 basis points.
