Gary Stevens, Landmark Partners former real estate head, is suing his former employer for breach of contract with regard to the promise of a 10% stake when he joined the firm in 2004, Private Equity Online reports.
The lawsuit alleges that when Landmark drew up the economic participation plan four years later, it did not provide Stevens with any interest in the "growth in the equity of the entire firm", the "participation rights in the amount of 10%" nor remuneration of compensation for the increase in the value of the firm between 2004 and 2008.
