American Capital has opened its first Asia office in Hong Kong and promoted David Steinglass to run it. Steinglass, a senior investment professional, joined the firm in 1997. He will work with international investment teams and build business in the region. The firm expanded in order to tap the region’s cross-border supply chain as well to take advantage of investment opportunities.
